About Jessica Humphry
I am a fully qualified Human and Equine Bowen Therapist offering treatments in Petworth or at client locations within West Sussex, Surrey and the surrounding areas.
What is Bowen?
Bowen is an effective, non-invasive alternative therapy. It is applied by using gentle pressure and a series of rolling hand movements to specific points of the body. Moves are made over fascia, muscles, tendons and ligaments, which activate the lymphatic, circulatory and nervous systems. Treatments help to alleviate symptoms and prompt the mind and body to heal as a whole to create a more balanced and aligned body and mind.
During the treatment, patients often feel a deep sense of relaxation and well-being. There are short breaks during the treatment which helps to allow the Body to absorb all the benefits of the therapy.
Who can benefit from the Bowen Technique?
Anyone can receive and benefit from having Bowen. Treatments typically last for 45 minutes and require an average of three Sessions. It is used to treat People and Horses alike to help with a whole range of complaints.
